Besides polarization, the employment legislation in the UK has changed especially under the influence of the European union. Both the birth rates and the dead rates keep on decreasing. This will lead to a smaller working population in the future. So far, this gap has been filled by a significant increase in immigrants, especially from EU countries, like Poland, but also from other parts of the world ONS, In summary, the UK, a service based economy, changed especially by the impact of technology, globalization, legislation and demographic changes.
